That’s right, another queer website choosing their favourite runway looks from Drag Race UK Season 3 – buckle up!
To celebrate the 36 looks from the premier we’re doing a top 5, using runway fashion only and being extra fair by only choosing one fashion phenomenon per queen.
5 – Vanity Milan (Things I love; Estonia)
So first things first, Vanity has one of those faces that you can’t help but admire; it’s beautiful and welcoming with that perfect hint of fierce. This combination of Blue, White, Black and Silver moments to represent Estonia was so easy on the eye and looked fantastic on the runway. The headpiece is a piece of floral art, the gloves are delicate, the jacket fabulous and well, who doesn’t love a good strap?

4 – Victoria Scone (Home Town; Wales)
Okay so this is THE camp moment that we needed on the premier of season 3. Not only was this a great way to represent her Welsh heritage, but a bold and beautiful way to introduce the Scone brand to everyone. Making yellow and green look good really isn’t easy and neither is strutting down the runway in such a larger than life look, but damn did she make it work! We’ll take a full bouquet.

3 – Krystal Versace (Things I Love; Cats)
When someone walks out in leopard print we’re immediately going to be interested, but when they do it this well the impact is ten times as strong. As well as being really easy on the eye, the way that it fit her snatched body was so worthy of a fashion week runway. The head piece gave us a camp yet fashion af moment and let’s be real, nobody can come for that make-up. MEOW!

2 – Choriza May (Things I Love; My Art)
Putting aside our bias toward Choriza since she’s a close friend, how could we not put this look in our top toots? The mixture of bold and bright colours instantly made this an eye catching moment, the silhouette was just gorgeous and it was wonderfully tailored. When people say a walking piece of art, this is literally what they mean. The most iconic part though is that the art work is hand-drawn by herself – we have no choice but to stan.

1 – Charity Kase (Home Town; Lancashire)
Our top spot was a close call but let’s be honest, the level of creativity and effort that went into this thorny, arsty moment called out for the win. The mixture of red tones, the full face of petals, the waist, the thorns, the overall silhouette, it’s just a fascinating fashion triumph. We have a soft spot for queens that break the mould but Charity murdered it, buried it then left a stunning single rose on it’s grave. Oh and to top it all off, she made the full outfit herself – incredible. Condragulations icon, you’re a winner.

What a way to kick off the season, needless to say we can’t wait to see what other stunning runway moments are coming in future episodes.
