We love ourselves a good bit of local drag, so you can imagine our excitement when York Pride Drag Race announced their return.

Many applied, but only one talented artist is going to walk away with a guaranteed performance spot at York Pride 2023, a £200 tip and of course a well deserved crown!

York Pride Drag Race will be held on Thursday 30th March 2023 at the Delta by York Marriott hotels (Tadcaster Road) from 7pm, a suitably stunning venue for the event if you ask us.

Queen of laying down in a lip sync, we guarantee you’ll be on the floor too laughing your ass off with her.

The daft legend with the big hair, Reese Wetherspoon is here to win a crown and finally weigh her wigs down.

Cosplayer by day and drag king by night, these other acts are in for a fight!

Tommy Boi is here to serve you a damn good performance whilst looking hella cute, but will it be enough to take the win and steal the booty?

They may be the underdogs of the competition, but 241 are full of the right kinds of spirit and are ready to perform their asses off to prove themselves worthy of a crowning.
