We had no plans to go camping in October but Choriza hit us up on Grindr so…
Since we had two categories on the runway this week, we’re rolling with a top 4 again and sharing out tent with our faves from each.
4 – River Medway
After a few weeks of being a little lost on the runway, River quite literally found a map to the top in our eyes. We can honestly say that we weren’t expecting a day at the races goes camping, but we ain’t mad about it. Using a map as a dress could have easily looked like a terrible fancy dress outfit yet here we have some stunning ruffles, a wonderfully fitting garment and a fun little character that charmed the runway. Let the river flow!

3 – Charity Kase
A moment of silence please for Charity Kase yet again being robbed of a top spot. This queen took a picnic blanket and fully constructed an adorable little dress, hat, collar and cute ruffles to bring the whole look together. This lollipop mad hatter fantasy was so fun and playful and though we understand it isn’t a ‘full’ garment to some, we really can’t see how extra material would have added to the look. We’re diving down that rabbit hole!

2 – Ella Vaday
Remember Jane from the Tarzan movies; this is her now, feel old? The second we saw Ella in this adorable, camp lil costume we were smitten. The overall aesthetic is just adorable and the subtle pops of purple really bring everything together to creature something very easy on the eye. In addition to the look, we got to see Ella having a lot of fun playing into the character and really giving us an extra element to enjoy. Could this be the start of a winning streak?

1 – Scarlett Harlett
For the second week in a row our top toot goes to the gorgeous Scarlett Harlett and we can’t even be mad about it. This dress absolutely looks like it was purchased in an over-priced store after being featured in a fashion week runway for fall. Now some people are saying that’s a bad thing on drag race, but the challenge was to create a garment from camping products and well, we challenge you to convince us this wonderfully constructed fashion moment didn’t hit the mark. The cherry on top for us was how perfectly the colour palette works for Scarlett, creating a stunning, soft moment. Condragulations, you’re a winner baby!
