Yes you read correctly, this is an article about a handsome model striping down at the gym, in fact there’s many a sexy stud involved,
Now that we have your attention, this isn’t just one big thirst trap, it’s actually a charity fundraising calendar. So while you’re enjoying some truly delightful examples of male nudity, you can also do your bit to help two fantastic causes too.
But instead of us telling you more about it, why not get some insider info from one of the beautiful gents who’s been getting his kit off!
Without further ado, here’s a little interview with the fabulous Jordan Chan.
Introductions first, tell our readers a little about yourself:
I’m Jordan, an operations manager by day and part time underwear model, LGBTQIA+ activist and charity fund raiser by night! I do lots of fund raising events in my local area to raise money for my local pride and create safe spaces for my local LGBTQ+ community. I also co host a radio show every other Tuesday.
How did you end up getting involved with the calendar?
I’ve wanted to do a charity calendar for a while after watching calendar girls! Testicular cancer affects so many men in the UK and I thought this would be a great way to get people talking, spread awareness and raise money for charity. We also have our calendar launch party, where all the models will be in attendance signing calendars and we will also be handing out unpublished photos on postcards with how to check yourself for testicular cancer on the back! It was also really important that the calendar was inclusive and featured regular local guys so we could engage with our local community and start conversions too.
Tell us more about the two causes that the calendar is fundraising for?
The main charity we are supporting is the Oddballs foundation, who raise awareness of testicular cancel to encourage a positive impact on men’s health. A portion of the profits will be donated to Swale Pride who I regularly work with in my local area.
Was it an easy choice to get involved following on from your fundraising at Mr Gay Great Britain?
The calendar was in the works prior to the competition as I’ve been charity fund raising for the last couple of years, but had to take a back seat while I raised money for the chosen charities for Mr Gay GB which also do a fantastic job. Shout out to Pride Action North and The Charlie & Carter Foundation.
You’ve done quite a bit of underwear modelling before, did stripping off come natural to you?
I’ve been really lucky to work with some of the biggest LGBTQ+ brands around the world and also be featured in some magazines, which has been amazing. This definitely helped build my confidence to feature in the calendar.
What kind of antics were going on behind the scenes?
Haha it was all very PC, the guys featured were happy to be involved to help raise awareness, money and make a difference. The shoot was fun and relaxed with plenty of laughs and the other models said what a great experience it was!
Who are the other gorgeous guys involved in the shoot?
The guys featured are: Myself, TJ, Frank, Jay, Jake, Jay, Junior, Dan and James
One of the models is also a testicular cancer survivor so it was really important to us that they were featured in the calendar and they were more than happy to be involved which was great!
Who’s lifting the most weight under their belt? If you know what we mean…
Haha that would be telling, a gentlemen never reveals secrets like that! Haha
Do you reckon we’ll get a follow up next year?
Oh absolutely! We already have so many people putting themselves forward for next year! who knows we might even do a full monty tour, so watch this space! Haha
